Use these 4 easy steps!
It's almost the end of June if you can believe it! With each year, time seems to go faster and faster.
Just before we speed through summer... ask yourself one question:
How you are doing with your nutrition goals that you have set in the past six months?
Like I said before, I don't like New Year's Resolutions. It had however, promted me to make one that stuck: To fold my clothes when I put them back in my gym bag (yes that is a small one.....I am happy to report that I am still doing it!!!!).
Making a nutritional change for the better may be spurred on by the hoopla of a new year, but sticking with it is a choice made by you. Take this time to check in with yourself, assess your progress and and make adjustments where you need to.
What to remember when doing this:
1. Everyone needs to make adjustments! It's called being human.
2. Remind yourself what an amazing job you are doing. Hey, if you are reading this you're already on the right track! That is more that what most will do!
3. Stay the course. This is the hard part. You may want to give up, throw the towel in, forgo the Sunday food prep for a trip to McD's. I get it. But I want you to know that you can do it! Take a deep breath and ask yourself what you really want.
You've got this.
4. You are going to mess up so count on it. When you fall off the horse, have a good laugh, hug yourself and get back on it. I gaurantee you that as long as you don't stop, you will achieve your goal. **This took me at least three decades to finally get.
Yours in health and happiness,
